Wood is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join its Projects business unit, focusing on the Oil, Gas and New Energy (OGNE) area. This opportunity is onsite.
**The Role**
Wood Colombia is seeking a professional Electrical Engineer with 10–15 years of specific experience in engineering projects within the Oil \& Gas sector to serve as an Electrical Engineer. Work location: Barrancabermeja. Software proficiency: Smart Plant 3D / Spel, Dialux, Neplan, Etap, AutoCAD 3D and 2D.

* Size the electrical system. Develop and/or review electrical discipline deliverables.
* As Discipline Lead, coordinate the project scope for the discipline and lead the electrical discipline team; act as the primary technical interface for the Electrical Discipline between the Engineering Coordinator, the Client, electrical subcontractors, and other disciplines.
* Conduct site visits to gather required information for project development.
* Accompany subcontractors on-site to verify completed work.
* Maintain project indicators, electrical discipline progress, schedule, talent management, estimate and report project indicators at the requested frequency. Report and communicate any observed changes in scope.
* Coordinate and prepare terms of reference and evaluation of bids for subcontracting activities generated within the project related to specific electrical discipline topics.
