DESCRIPTION
At Eosol, we are seeking a Railway Electrical Modeler responsible for developing and managing railway electrical models (BIM/design), ensuring proper integration of electrification systems (AC/DC), earthing systems, and electromagnetic compatibility, in compliance with international standards and quality requirements.
Requirements:
Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or related field.
Experience in railway projects: Metro, High-Speed Rail, Tramway
Experience in:
* Railway electrical modeling.
* AC/DC electrification
* Earthing systems
Proficiency in BIM modeling applied to electrical systems
**Responsibilities:**
BIM modeling of railway electrical systems:
* Electrification (AC/DC)
* Substations and power supply
* Earthing and equipotential bonding systems
Development and updating of coordinated multidisciplinary models.
Preparation of:
* Electrical drawings (routing, conduits, equipment)
* Electrical schematics and construction details
Integration of design criteria related to:
* Stray currents and their mitigation
* Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
Review and validation of models against regulatory standards:
* EN 50122 (earthing and safety)
* EN 50121 (EMC)
* EN 50119 (overhead contact line)
Coordination with other disciplines (civil, signaling, telecommunications).
Interference detection (clash detection) and conflict resolution.
