Job Summary: A major civil works company is seeking a Junior Mechanical Technician for preventive and corrective maintenance of heavy machinery, with experience in hydraulic systems and diesel engines. Diagnosis of mechanical and hydraulic failures. ***Worksite Location: PATIO TALLER SIBERIA – Cota Road near Romboy Siberia 1\.2 km, next to Marcopolo.*** A prominent company in the CIVIL WORKS sector (Bogotá Metro Project) requires a highly motivated and qualified JUNIOR MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN to join our team. Requirements: * Personal transportation (motorcycle preferred); C2 driver's license * Technical or technological degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics * 3 years of experience * Knowledge of hydraulic systems applied to heavy machinery. * Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance. * In-depth knowledge of diesel engines. Proficiency in using mechanical diagnostic tools and equipment. Main Responsibilities: * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment. * Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and diesel engine failures. * Support the repair and maintenance of hydraulic systems in heavy machinery. * Inspect equipment to ensure proper operation and availability. * Replace filters, oils, hoses, belts, and other wear components. * Assist in preparing maintenance reports and equipment incident logs. * Prepare tools, spare parts, and supplies required for maintenance activities. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and proper storage of equipment and tools. * Comply with industrial safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor related to the position. SALARY: $1\.750\.905 \+ Variable bonus $300\.000 \+ $300\.000 Transportation allowance \+ All statutory benefits CONTRACT: Fixed-term SCHEDULE: Rotating shifts with availability for night hours and weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), as required by the contractor.
