Ensures timely supply of goods and services A garment manufacturing company requires a procurement professional with specific experience in textiles and garment manufacturing supplies to support the procurement process, ensuring timely supply of goods and services, maintaining documentary control, complying with internal policies, and optimizing costs. * Request and receive quotations from suppliers. * Compare prices, delivery times, and commercial terms. * Prepare and track purchase orders. * Manage advance payments or full payments according to purchase requirements. * Coordinate transportation requests for purchased items. * Negotiate with suppliers in accordance with established guidelines. * Maintain an up-to-date supplier directory. * Handle returns, exchanges, or supplier claims. * Follow up on pending or delayed deliveries. * Verify that all invoices have been submitted by accounting period close. * Conduct purchases at Alquería or visit suppliers when required.
