We are currently seeking an **Assistant Engineer for FIRST JOB (No prior experience required)** to join a road infrastructure project in the city of **Bucaramanga, Santander**. **Required Profile:** * Recently graduated professional in **Civil Engineering and/or Transportation and Highway Engineering**. * Completion and approval of academic curriculum (degree certificate in hand or graduation minutes issued). * Valid professional license or application in process. * **No affiliation with the Colombian social security system as either dependent or independent worker after graduation date, in fields related to the requested profile** (verification will be conducted via RUAF and employment history). * Age between 18 and 28 years. * Residency in Bucaramanga or nearby municipalities. **Terms and Conditions:** * **Employment Type:** Fixed-term contract for six (6) months. * **Work Modality:** On-site office work and field visits. * **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; Saturdays, 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. * **Compensation:** COP 1,750,000 plus applicable transportation allowance. **Main Responsibilities:** * Conduct daily field inspections to verify quality of construction processes and materials used. * Support verification of executed work quantities and measurements. * Record and monitor daily activities using logbooks and technical reports. * Document project progress and incidents photographically, maintaining organized records by work fronts and/or CIVS. * Ensure compliance with the project’s established inspection and testing plan. * Identify and report rework or deviations occurring during activity execution. * Classify, organize, and maintain up-to-date technical supervision documentation. * Complete required forms, records, and templates for project implementation. * Support project close-out, ensuring complete and organized delivery of all documentation. * Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor, consistent with the nature of the position and the project contract. **Valued Competencies:** Leadership, professionalism, interpersonal communication, teamwork, regulatory compliance, efficiency, organization, customer orientation, and information management. **Full-time – On-site** Job Type: Full-time Application Question(s): * Do you reside in Bucaramanga or nearby municipalities? * Have you previously worked with affiliations to the Colombian social security system as either a dependent or independent worker?
