Job Summary: Clinical assistant responsible for comprehensive patient care, emotional support, assistance in medical procedures, and record keeping, ensuring patient safety. Key Highlights: 1. Responsibilities: Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding. Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate. Reposition and transfer patients using proper lifting techniques to prevent pressure ulcers and maintain comfort. Support and Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure quality care and meet patient needs. Promptly report any changes in patient condition or behavior to supervising nursing staff. Provide emotional support to patients and their families, creating a comforting and reassuring environment. Clinical Assistance: Assist in collecting samples for medical tests. Maintain patient rooms and equipment clean, organized, and adequately supplied with necessary materials. Assist in transporting patients to various departments within the healthcare facility. Documentation: Accurately document and maintain patient information, including care provided and health-related observations. Ensure all records remain confidential and are handled in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements. Safety and Compliance: Follow all infection control policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
