This position will be based in Cali, Colombia. **THIS IS HOW YOUR JOURNEY BEGINS** As an Operation Technician, you will be responsible for manufacturing production orders, adhering to established prioritization, meeting agreed-upon timelines, and fulfilling predefined quality parameters. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Comply with the company’s industrial safety guidelines, which are considered top priority in our operations. * Comply with Aptar’s Integrated Management Policy. * Support the company-defined continuous improvement processes. * Conduct shift handover (both delivery and receipt). * Review the production schedule. * Perform autonomous inspection, operation, and maintenance—including corresponding cleaning—of the assigned machine. * Maintain material hoppers loaded with sufficient quantities of components to ensure uninterrupted machine operation. * Monitor machine processing to minimize downtime. * Execute notification, consumption, and closure procedures for manufacturing orders within the company-defined management tool, primarily SAP. * Certify product conformity during the production process using established operational controls. * Record all produced or consumed quantities, as well as time and events occurring during the process. * Carry out all defined production instructions, such as labeling, packaging, and box handling. * Notify the technician or supervisor of any unsolvable machine or operational issues, as well as detected product deviations. **WHAT YOU BRING TO THE JOURNEY** * Technical degree in industrial fields (e.g., electrical, electronics, mechanical, automation, etc.). * Minimum 1 year of experience as a production operator or production process assistant. * Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.). * Basic knowledge of mechanics, arithmetic, statistics, tools, and units of measurement. **Soft Skills:** * Proactive and resourceful individual, capable of analyzing adverse situations and proposing solutions. * Open to change and quick to learn new tools and technologies. * Strong interpersonal skills enabling teamwork and cross-departmental collaboration. * Responsible, respectful, and committed to following directives and instructions issued by management. * Adaptable to sudden operational changes driven by company priorities. **WHAT WE OFFER** * An exciting, diverse, and values-driven work environment * Award-winning Corporate University offering personal development and training opportunities * Competitive base salary * Opportunities to contribute to the communities where we live and operate **BE YOURSELF.
