Development of skills in treasury, accounts receivable, or accounting **Payment Application Assistant** At CRG Colombia, we are looking for an organized, analytical individual with strong attention to detail, responsible for ensuring that incoming funds to the company’s bank accounts are accurately identified and legalized in the system. **Responsibilities** Deposit Identification: Reconcile daily bank statements against customer payment advices. Record payments in the ERP system, correctly applying them to corresponding invoices. Perform adjustments and contact customers when overpayments, underpayments, or missing customer supporting documents are received, to ensure correct payment application. Maintain documentary support for incoming funds for audits and monthly closings. **Requirements** Technical, technological, or undergraduate student (2nd to 5th semester) in Public Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields. 6 months to 1 year of experience in Treasury, Accounts Receivable, or Accounting departments. Basic experience with SAP (FI module), Oracle, or Microsoft systems (preferred). Intermediate Excel proficiency. **Required Competencies:** Attention to Detail: Prevents misapplication errors that could lead to unjustified customer billing and commercial dissatisfaction. Service Orientation: The assistant frequently interacts with sales representatives or customers to clarify payments. Honesty and Ethics: Handles sensitive financial information regarding incoming funds and bank transactions. Time Management: Month-end closings are typically intensive and require meeting payment application targets.
