If you have proven experience in policies, underwriting, and claims, along with solid knowledge or ISTQB certification, this challenge is for you. You will be responsible for designing functional test strategies, validating complex business rules, and coordinating UAT testing using Azure DevOps. Here, you won’t just test software—you’ll transform the reliability of critical products alongside a dynamic team, advancing your professional growth within a collaborative and innovative environment. ### **Responsibilities** * Design and execute functional test strategies aligned with insurance-sector business rules. * Validate correct business logic in policy management, underwriting, and claims processes. * Coordinate and facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) sessions with key stakeholders. * Document, manage, and track identified defects using Azure DevOps. * Actively collaborate with cross-functional teams under agile frameworks. * Automate and optimize API test execution using service consumption tools. * Clearly and proactively communicate quality progress and risks to both technical and business stakeholders. ### **Requirements** * **Education:** Degree in Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science, or related fields. * **Experience:** Demonstrable experience as a Functional QA Analyst participating in insurance-sector projects and agile development environments. ### **Technical Knowledge** * **Agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)** * ISTQB certification or solid foundational knowledge **(Preferred)** * **Azure DevOps** * Domain knowledge in the **Insurance area (Policies, Underwriting, Claims)** * **Postman and SoapUI** for **service/API testing** * **Micro Focus ALM / HP ALM** * **Confluence** * **Artificial Intelligence tools** applied to testing ### **APPLY NOW and become part of this story!** **Conditions** --------------- * You must be located in **Medellín** to work in a **hybrid** mode. * **Indefinite-term contract or Contractor role** — We aim for long-term relationships and want you to be part of our family for many years! * **Seeking professional growth?** At Sofka, we offer a **learning ecosystem** with multiple tools to bridge skill gaps and enhance your capabilities — you decide how you want to grow!
