Recognized globally as the benchmark for quality and integrity, SGS employs over 95,000 people and operates a network of more than 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** This document outlines the responsibilities applicable to the position: **ACCOUNT PAYABLE REPRESENTATIVE RBS.** Failure to comply with the provisions set forth herein shall be deemed by the signatory parties as a serious breach and just cause for termination of the employment contract without compensation. **Key Responsibilities:** Responsible for daily business accounting activities, with primary focus on Accounts Receivable and Customer Service. **Specific Responsibilities:** * Assist with credit card payment processing, resolve online payment issues via Bill Trust, and apply all payments/credits to the correct customer accounts, either by phone or email. * Coordinate with headquarters on customer refund requests for duplicate or overpayments. * Coordinate the application of unapplied payments together with the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable (AP/AR) team at headquarters. * Clear pending payments on customer accounts or COD (Cash on Delivery) accounts. * Follow up on inquiries received from SGS businesses and customers related to payments, collections, or billing issues. * Supervise Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable tasks, including but not limited to: * Handling incoming customer calls or emails. * Processing all customer invoicing. * Processing customer payments and assisting corporate with unapplied payments. * Responding to customer questions and concerns. * Assisting in collections management, as needed, to minimize outstanding receivables and DSO (Days Sales Outstanding). * Ensuring the quality and confidentiality of customer and company information, and actively participating in updating the Quality Management System, especially regarding best accounting practices. * Complying with internal standards, policies, and procedures. * Performing other duties as assigned. * Building trust by providing timely responses to all inquiries, whether by phone or email. * Promoting a positive “Yes, we can!” attitude and a safe working environment. * Knowing and complying with SGS procedures and standards; adhering to all QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) and HR policies and procedures. * Building and maintaining strong working relationships. * Adopting and supporting specific operational improvement initiatives communicated by the GBS Team Leader. These projects will focus on improving quality, efficiency, accreditation, communication, and technical development. * Performing other related tasks that may be assigned, either in support of departmental objectives or for personal or professional development, as scheduled by the immediate supervisor. * Ensuring the GBS work area is always clean and presentable. **Requirements** **Education:** Technician or Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Finance, or related fields **Experience:** Minimum 1–2 years of experience. Call center experience or related experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Finance/Accounting experience is preferred. Experience receiving customer payments is preferred. Account management experience is preferred. **Technical Skills:** Intermediate-level MS Office Excel. **Note 1:** Regarding technical skills, if not fully met, the company will ensure compliance and follow-up through inclusion in the training/certification program. **Languages:** English B2+ or C1 with strong verbal and written communication skills (grammar and composition). **Additional Information** Working Hours: Monday to Friday Work Mode: On-site.
