**EHS Specialist (Rionegro Free Zone, Antioquia)** **Job Summary:** Under the supervision of the Environmental Health and Safety Manager, the EHS Specialist is responsible for supporting and implementing workplace safety programs, conducting safety inspections, maintaining compliance documentation, and promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization. **Job Status:** * Rotating shifts * Salary * Reports to: Environmental Health and Safety Supervisor **Role Responsibilities:** * Implementation of safety program * Assist in implementing and maintaining safety programs * Conduct periodic safety inspections and audits * Support incident investigations and root cause analysis * Monitor compliance with company policies and regulations * Maintain safety records and documentation * Training and development * Conduct safety training sessions * Provide first aid, CPR, and AED training * Support safety orientations for new employees * Develop and update safety training materials * Compliance and documentation * Assist in maintaining OSHA 300 logs and related documentation * Review and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) * Support safety documentation for new initiatives * Assist in drafting and updating standard operating procedures * Participate in process hazard analyses * Program support and communication * Participate in safety committee meetings * Contribute to weekly safety meetings * Assist in workers' compensation claims management * Support planning and tracking of safety budget * Interface with all levels of management and personnel **Education and Certifications:** * Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, or related field preferred * Associate degree with relevant experience considered * Professional safety certifications preferred (e.g., OSHA, CSP) **Experience / Skills / Abilities:** * 2+ years of HSE experience in manufacturing * Proficiency in safety management systems * Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to use required PPE, including respirators * Valid driver's license * Competent computer skills * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills **Technical Competencies:** * Safety program management * Incident investigation * Risk assessment * Emergency response * Training facilitation * Documentation management **Work Expectations / Working Conditions:** Physical Requirements: * Standing for prolonged periods * Lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted * Climbing stairs * Bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling * Working at heights * Pushing/pulling motions Work Environment: * Manufacturing plant environment * Indoor and outdoor work * Exposure to varying temperatures * Regular use of PPE * Industrial setting
