Structured as a matrix organization comprising six geographic regions and ten platforms, Louis Dreyfus Company operates in over 100 countries and employs approximately 18,000 people globally. **Job Description** * Ensure green coffee quality by enforcing the company’s quality policy, ensuring proper sampling, homogenization, and physical and sensory analysis of the product upon both intake and dispatch. * Maintain an orderly and clean laboratory and ensure proper functioning of equipment to guarantee accurate coffee analysis results. * Ensure compliance with good storage practices and inventory rotation (FIFO); perform sensory classification of inventory in warehouse. * Verify that transport vehicles meet appropriate conditions to safeguard cargo quality during transit. * Ensure execution of coffee assignments issued by the Quality Department. Monitor green coffee quality during storage via physical and sensory analysis, and reclassify quality as required. * Trigger necessary alerts to relevant departments when risks threatening inventory quality are detected. * Contribute to supplier evaluations. * Preparation of periodic reports: * Daily/Weekly: Green coffee quality report upon intake into inventory – Divergence report. * Upload green coffee quality data to the system. * Monthly: Warehouse performance presentation. **Additional Information** * *Technologist or university graduate.* * *Minimum 2 years of proven experience in physical and sensory quality analysis of green coffee, applying the Colombian protocol for determining and analyzing the yield factor; experience with hulling machines and quality analysis of export-grade coffees.* * *Desirable experience in coffee exporting companies and corporate environments; proficiency in office software.* **What We Offer** A multicultural, dynamic, and challenging environment that will broaden and develop your capabilities and channel your skills and experience with excellent professional development opportunities at one of the world’s most robust companies.
