Job Summary: The UGH and LOHA Technical Operators Trainer will train mining equipment operators, coordinating both internally and externally, and promoting an assertive corporate culture. Key Highlights: 1. Training on operation of underground mining equipment. 2. Coordination with customers for training logistics. 3. Competency validation and correction of operational issues. **Purpose of the Position.** The UGH and LOHA Technical Operators Trainer is responsible for delivering training services on mining equipment operation to customer operators under service contracts. Additionally, they must coordinate internally with Sandvik personnel at the mine site and within the Service Contracts unit and other company departments, and coordinate externally with customers at the mine site. They must actively participate in and exemplify assertive, consistent, and empathetic communication aligned with the company’s corporate culture, guidelines, and strategy. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Develop the training plan for customer heavy equipment operators. * Maintain up-to-date information on heavy equipment operation manuals. * Receive incident reports related to equipment accidents caused by improper operation, to correct or reinforce knowledge on safe heavy equipment operation. * Coordinate with customers the necessary logistics for conducting training sessions. * Conduct site visits to mining operation areas to validate operator competencies and/or identify emerging operational issues for timely correction. * Understand and implement controls established in the Hazard Identification Matrix and Risk Assessment. * Actively participate in EHS trainings and awareness sessions. * Understand and implement controls established in the Hazard Identification Matrix and Risk Assessment. * Comply with Sandvik’s and the client company’s Safety, Health, and Environment policies, procedures, standards, and regulations where operations are conducted. **Requirements** * Technical or engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Machinery Maintenance, etc. * Minimum 5 years’ experience in underground mining equipment operation and instruction. * Instructor certification and/or accreditation of a course (teaching methodology and techniques). * Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Power BI. * Sandvik heavy machinery operator license (mandatory). * Driver’s license class B1. * Willingness and ability to travel and reside at the assigned contract location. **A diverse workforce and an inclusive culture are prerequisites for working in a creative, innovative, and fun company.
