Document management for freight forwarders and airlines **Job Description:** A logistics and cargo company is seeking a Cargo Checker to support operational import and export processes. The candidate will be responsible for verifying, registering, and reporting anomalies related to the physical inspection of goods, ensuring correct handling and legalization of cargo via the WMS system. **Main Responsibilities:** * Physically inspect cargo and register quantities in the WMS system. * Request and review the daily operations schedule. * Manage inspection documents for freight forwarders and airlines. * Report cargo overages, shortages, and anomalies. * Take photographic records of goods with anomalies or damage. * Conduct cargo searches prior to reporting shortages. * Legalize flights using the WMS operational system. * Identify pictograms and ensure appropriate handling of goods. * Guarantee established timeframes for unloading and legalization. * Record operational anomalies in internal forms and systems. * Support cargo storage and organization in the warehouse. **Requirements:** * High school diploma. * Minimum 6 months of experience in logistics operations, warehouse, or cargo handling. * Basic proficiency in office tools and email. * Strong writing and spelling skills. * Availability to work rotating shifts. **Working Conditions:** * Salary: $1\.800\.000 \+ bonus of $75\.000 * Rotating shifts: 6:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. / 2:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. / 10:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. * Work schedule from Monday to Sunday with scheduled rest days.
