Operational Support Administer databases in production, development, and testing environments. Execute periodic backups and restorations, validating their integrity. Monitor database performance and apply proactive tuning. Manage data access security, roles, and audits. Support resolution of database-related incidents. Document technical procedures, configurations, and changes performed. Participate in database migration, upgrade, or integration projects. Coordinate with infrastructure teams to validate resources, storage, growth, scaling, and connectivity. Generate technical reports on availability, usage, performance, transactions, and history. Train the technical team on best practices for database usage and maintenance. REQUIREMENTS Professional in Systems Engineering or related field. Knowledge of SQL Server administration, data analysis, job management, stored procedures, triggers, backup, ETL administration, and implementation, stabilization, and operation of relational databases, including infrastructure knowledge (servers, Linux, Windows). Database administration for SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Configuration of backups, restorations, and disaster recovery plans (DRP). Query, index, and data structure optimization. Performance monitoring and use of tools such as SQL Profiler, Oracle AWR, Zabbix, etc. User, role, and permission management. Data security and regulatory compliance (Law 1581, encryption, auditing). Task automation using scripts (T-SQL, PL/SQL, PowerShell). Knowledge of high-availability architectures (AlwaysOn, RAC, Clustering). Developer support for data modeling, query validation, and migrations.
