Recognized globally as the benchmark for quality and integrity, SGS employs over 95,000 professionals and operates a network of more than 2,400 offices and laboratories worldwide. **Job Description** * Ensure the preparation of laboratory samples for analysis, including but not limited to reduction, homogenization, and division of received bulk samples, as well as pulverization to obtain analytical samples, and air-drying where applicable. * Ensure timely delivery of prepared samples to the testing laboratory along with the corresponding documentation. * Ensure accurate recording of data related to each sample in the designated archive and proper identification of samples within the applicable Operating System, in accordance with established procedures, maintaining up-to-date records. * Ensure appropriate handling and maintenance of all sample preparation equipment under your responsibility, including performance of required checks for each piece of equipment. * Ensure compliance with all applicable technical, administrative, and quality standards and procedures relevant to your area of work at the site. * Promptly inform your immediate supervisor of any non-conforming products identified during your process or of any customer complaints and/or claims. * Perform any other duties assigned that are inherent to this position. **Requirements** Academic Qualification: Mining Technician / Laboratory Technician / High School Graduate / Staff trained within the Organization. Experience: One (1) month of theoretical-practical training within the Company in the sample preparation area. Technical Knowledge: Laboratory quality control in accordance with NTC-ISO/IEC 17025 standard; office software tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). **Additional Information** Salary: $1,560,547 Contract Type: Project-based Employment
