Job Summary: We are seeking a Certified Accountant for an SME in Bogotá, responsible for accounting, tax, fiscal, and financial management, including payroll and treasury functions. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comprehensive management of tax returns and tax planning. 2. Preparation of financial statements and bank reconciliations. 3. Treasury control, payroll processing, and company asset management. Certified Accountant URGENT** for on-site work at an SME in Bogotá. Main responsibilities include: Preparation and filing of tax returns: Withholding Tax (Retefuente), VAT Withholding (Reteiva), and Municipal Tax Withholding (Reteica). Income Tax, VAT (IVA), and Municipal Tax (ICA) declarations. Tax planning (projecting tax payments). Performing monthly accounting closing. Verifying the consistency of accounting accounts; ensuring compliance with national and municipal tax obligations. Recording accounting transactions. Reviewing accounting information. Bank reconciliations. Preparation of financial statements. Issuing withholding certificates. Renewing Chamber of Commerce registration and other documents required for business operations. Preparing, compiling, and submitting exogenous information reports. Preparing monthly income and expense reports, and projections of expenses and income. Executing payment processes and treasury control. Administrative control of assets. Calculating and supervising monthly and annual tax payments. Processing payroll, severance pay (cesantías), bonuses (prima), and final settlements. Providing payroll slip information regarding severance pay, dependents, and related payments. Supervising proper maintenance of company assets. Maintaining and updating company information for suppliers, government agencies, banks, etc. Ensuring timely payment of services, taxes, and routine company expenses. Managing collections, payments, and invoicing. Handling petty cash.
