The ideal candidate has strong experience building backend services with **Django**, developing modern web applications with **Vue.js**, designing RESTful APIs, and implementing microservices that support high\-volume, mission\-critical systems. ### **Responsibilities** * Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable applications using **Django** and **Vue.js**. * Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and integrations with internal and external systems. * Design, optimize, and maintain **PostgreSQL** databases, ensuring performance, scalability, and data integrity. * Collaborate closely with Product, Design, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high\-quality software solutions. * Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and Agile ceremonies. * Write clean, maintainable, well\-documented code and contribute to continuous improvements in engineering practices. * Mentor other engineers and support knowledge sharing across the team. ### **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. * **7\+ years of professional experience** as a Software Engineer. * Strong proficiency in software engineering principles, design patterns, and modern development practices. * Strong experience developing backend applications using **Python**. * Experience building scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems. * Strong experience working with relational databases such as **PostgreSQL**, MySQL, or similar SQL databases, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning. * Experience developing frontend applications using **Vue.js** and modern JavaScript. * Experience designing and implementing **microservices** and service\-oriented architectures. * Experience integrating internal and third\-party APIs. * Proficiency with **Git** for version control. * Experience working with **Docker** and **Kubernetes**. * Experience with automated testing, test\-driven development (TDD), and code reviews. * Experience documenting software functionality and reviewing the work of other engineers. ### **Benefits** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field. * **7\+ years** of professional experience as a Software Engineer. * Strong experience with **Django**, **PostgreSQL**, **Vue.js**, REST APIs, and **microservices**. * Experience with **Docker**, **Kubernetes**, **Git**, and CI/CD pipelines. * Experience with automated testing, Test\-Driven Development (TDD), and code reviews. * Experience building scalable, high\-performance applications and working with distributed systems. * Experience in **Payments**, FinTech, or other high\-volume transactional environments is highly desirable. * Strong analytical, problem\-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast\-paced Agile environment.
