This opportunity is onsite, with English level B2 required. **The Role.** Wood Colombia is seeking a Process Engineer for its team, with over 8 years of experience as a Process Engineer in refinery and LNG projects or operational facilities. Experience in both greenfield and industrial projects, proven exposure to FEED, Detailed Engineering, Commissioning, and Operational Support, and direct interface with Operations, Maintenance, Inspection, and Technical Safety disciplines. **Our Clients and Projects.** Designing the future. The Oil, Gas and New Energies business of Wood is built upon a strong track record of delivering large, complex projects for national and international energy companies worldwide. **What We Can Offer.** * Significant and interesting projects delivered to industry leaders in the Oil & Gas sector. * Flexible work arrangements that balance the needs of the client, team, and individual. * Commitment to diversity and inclusion across our entire organization, supported by employee networks dedicated to giving voice to all employees. * Flexible benefits package that can be tailored to your lifestyle. * Commitment to continuous professional development through personalized development plans. * Global connections with industry-leading experts. • The candidate must demonstrate strong technical competence in: • Development of Process Design Basis and Philosophy documents. • Steady-state and dynamic process simulation (HYSYS, UniSim or equivalent). • Preparation and review of PFDs, P&IDs, and heat and material balances. • Sizing and specification of equipment (vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors). • Control philosophy and interface with Instrumentation and Control. • Relief system design support and expansion. • Experience with major refinery units such as CDU/VDU, hydrotreating, reforming, FCC, and hydrogen management. • Understanding of feedstock variability, product specifications, and blending operations. • Integration of contaminated sites, linkages, and feasibility assessment of renewal. • Awareness of operability limitations, start-up, and shutdown. • Experience in liquefaction, storage, BOG management, and LNG export systems. • Understanding of cryogenic process design and material constraints. • Interface with LNG safety philosophies, including cold release and dispersion considerations. • Familiarity with LNG operating modes and transient conditions. • Active participation in HAZID, HAZOP, and LOPA studies. • Ability to incorporate safety recommendations into process design. • Understanding of inherent safety principles and risk-based decision making. • Collaboration with FHA and QRA teams as the Process discipline lead. • Familiarity with relevant API, ASME, and ISO standards for process design. • Practical knowledge of applicable NFPA and CSA standards for refineries and LNG facilities. • Understanding of licensor specifications and company engineering standards. **What Makes You Extraordinary?** At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team.
