This is your opportunity, come and be part of Sangre Tigo! **Apply right now!** Accounting Analyst Role Objective: Guarantee the recording of the company’s obligations to suppliers and third parties, complying with internal policies, tax regulations, and established service timelines, ensuring the integrity, reliability, and reasonableness of financial information in SAP, in management reports and SOX controls assigned to the Accounts Payable process, while delivering efficient service to internal departments and suppliers. **Experience** Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting and/or accounts payable processes, including invoice handling, accruals, account reconciliations, tax obligations, and accounting controls. Experience in supporting audits and process automation tools is desirable. Accounting process experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Experience using SAP. Education: Technical degree in Accounting, Administrative Processes, or related fields. Professional degree in Public Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields. Key Responsibilities: * Analyze, record, and manage the recognition of received invoices, ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations and company policies. * Coordinate with contract managers on invoices that violate policies and follow up until corrections are made. * Monitor and analyze expense and service accruals, coordinating with contract administration areas to ensure timely settlement of these balances, guaranteeing that the company’s liabilities are reasonably recognized and comply with accounting standards and internal policies. * Execute, document, and reconcile monthly balance sheet account reconciliations. Analyze reconciling items and coordinate required adjustments with responsible departments. * Execute assigned SOX controls for the Accounts Payable process timely and with supporting evidence, ensuring financial information is complete, accurate, and auditable, in compliance with internal control policies. * Guarantee compliance with SLAs established for the Accounts Payable process by monitoring response times and internal and external service quality. * Ensure compliance with company policies, withholding tax, VAT, and other tax obligations. * Provide timely service to internal and external customers of the Accounts Payable process, managing their requests and meeting established SLAs. * Propose, design, and support implementation of technological solutions—such as macros, RPA, AI, and applications—to optimize repetitive tasks within the accounts payable process, thereby improving efficiency, reducing errors, and strengthening controls. * Ensure adherence to internal control and accounting policies in performing assigned activities. * Timely respond to audit, oversight, regulatory, and internal/external supervisory requests. * Perform other complementary duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
