At Natural Sant Cosméticos, we seek an **Accounting Assistant** with a highly analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive profile—going beyond mere data entry. Your role will be critical in safeguarding financial operations. **Knowledge:** * Understanding of the accounting cycle and its main stages. * Handling of supporting documents, accounting vouchers, records, reconciliations, adjustments, and closing processes. * Basic knowledge of the Colombian Unified Chart of Accounts (PUC). * Understanding of the nature and classification of accounting accounts. * Knowledge of debit and credit concepts. * Recording and accounting for expenses, purchases, income, and bank movements. * Basic knowledge of accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Identification, review, and organization of accounting documents and supporting evidence. * Basic knowledge of VAT, withholding taxes, and other applicable taxes related to company operations. * Ability to identify inconsistencies among supporting documents, accounting records, and information entered into systems. * Intermediate or advanced Excel proficiency. **Education:** Technical or Technological Degree in Accounting. **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of experience as an Accounting Assistant or in related accounting functions. **Routine Tasks:** Petty Cash Legalization – Bank Reconciliation – Payment Gateway Reconciliation. **Responsibility:** Keeping these activities up to date, along with other related tasks.
