The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and executing various key tasks within the company’s accounting cycle, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information. This role is critical to maintaining financial health and supporting strategic decision-making. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Invoice Accrual:** Accurately and timely manage and record accruals for all supplier invoices, ensuring compliance with internal policies and tax regulations. * **Reconciliations:** Perform bank reconciliations, accounts payable reconciliations, accounts receivable reconciliations, and other relevant accounting reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies. * **Accounting Close:** Actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close processes, ensuring correct application of current accounting standards (NIF or those applicable in the jurisdiction). * **Accounting Entries:** Prepare and record accounting entries in accordance with the company’s financial transactions. * **Financial Analysis:** Support the generation of financial reports and analysis of variances, providing useful information for management. * **Tax Compliance:** Assist in preparing information required to fulfill tax obligations. * **Filing and Documentation:** Maintain an organized and complete archive of accounting and financial documentation. * **Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and propose solutions to enhance efficiency. * **General Support:** Provide support during internal and external audits, as well as other finance department activities as needed. **Job Requirements:** * **Education:** University degree in Public Accounting * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in similar roles, with solid understanding of the accounting cycle. * **Knowledge:** Strong knowledge of: * Invoice accrual and accounts payable. * Bank and account reconciliations. * Accounting close processes. * Applicable accounting standards. * Basic tax legislation. * **Technical Skills:** Proficiency in accounting software (ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or other relevant systems) and Office suite, especially advanced Excel. * **Soft Skills:** * Analytical ability and attention to detail. * Organization and planning. * Proactivity and results orientation. * Teamwork capability. * Integrity and professional ethics. **We Offer:** * Direct employment by Calidra Colombia * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. * Professional development and continuous training opportunities. * A dynamic and collaborative work environment. **Are you ready to join a team of excellence and contribute to the success of Grupo Calidra?** If you meet the profile and are seeking a new professional challenge within a solid and growing company, we invite you to join our team.
