Wood is seeking a Civil Engineer to join its Projects business unit, focusing on Oil, Gas and New Energy (OGNE). This opportunity is onsite.
**The Role**
Wood Colombia is seeking a professional Civil Engineer with over 15 years of general experience and 10–15 years of specific experience in engineering projects within the Oil \& Gas sector, to serve as a Civil Engineer Specialist in Roads and Earthworks. Work base: Bogotá. Detailed design of roads, earthworks, site preparation drawings, excavation planimetry.

* Conduct overall review of designs developed during the project’s FEED engineering phase.
* Attend internal discipline meetings with the project and with the client.
* Attend site visits if required.
* Comply at all times with the Company’s corporate and local policies and align with our Corporate Values.
* Ensure designs comply with applicable national and international codes and standards.
* Ensure designs meet client technical specifications and engineering best practices.
* Collaborate with the Lead Civil Manager to unify design criteria and ensure adherence thereto.
* Be accountable for the technical quality of civil discipline designs and deliverables for the project.
* Review/participate in technical review workshops such as Peer Review, Design Review, Constructability, etc.
* Ensure compliance with the project’s engineering deliverables quality review procedure.
* Support Zone Civil Leaders and the Project Civil Manager in technical planning and execution, inspections, reviews, audits, etc., in accordance with TechX.
* Contribute to resolving engineering issues, applying accepted principles, codes, standards, and applicable procedures.
* Provide technical support to all team members.
* Ensure compliance with company quality procedures and standards.
* Perform any other responsibilities assigned by your immediate supervisor and aligned with company needs.
* Ensure responsible and efficient use of organizational assets (tools, materials, equipment, information).
