Job Summary: Tekton Labs is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and integrate CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code on GCP, optimizing global technology operations. At Tekton Labs, we are looking for a passionate **DevOps Engineer** who thrives on automation and modern infrastructure to join our engineering teams. In this role, you will be the key contributor in designing, implementing, and integrating CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), ensuring continuous, secure, and efficient deployments to optimize our global technology operations. **Responsibilities** * Design and implement efficient CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery lifecycle across multiple environments. * Build, provision, and manage modular Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. * Configure and administer serverless and container-oriented cloud services within the GCP ecosystem. * Implement monitoring, tracing, and observability strategies to ensure high service availability. * Manage security policies, identity and access management (IAM), and secret handling on the cloud platform. * Collaborate closely with development teams to resolve bottlenecks and integrate DevOps best practices. * Support interaction and performance with relational databases within the automation workflow. **Must Have** * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of proven experience developing automation pipelines for deployments. * Advanced proficiency with Google Cloud Platform (GCP). * Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or Cloud Deploy. * Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. * Experience with Docker containers and orchestration using Kubernetes/GKE. * Intermediate-level knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL). * Intermediate English proficiency. **Nice to Have** * Prior experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and serverless deployment services. * Knowledge of pipeline administration using Azure Pipelines. * Experience with API Gateway or Apigee in microservices architecture.
