This opportunity is on-site. **The Role.** Wood Colombia is seeking an Electrical Engineer specializing in power lines or related disciplines, with 15 or more years of specific engineering project experience within the Oil & Gas sector, to serve as an Electrical Engineer specializing in power lines. Work location: Bogotá. Report and communicate any scope changes identified. * Conduct field visits to gather required information for project development. Accompany field verification of work performed by subcontractors. * Maintain design integrity in accordance with established standards and guidelines, ensuring technical consistency and accuracy across all designs. * Perform any other responsibilities assigned by your immediate supervisor and aligned with company needs. * Provide technical assistance to the Client, whether on projects executed at Wood offices or at the Client’s offices. **What Makes You Extraordinary?** At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunity and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. **Requirements:** * Minimum English proficiency of 75%, desirable. * Colombian Technical Regulation for Electrical Installations (RETIE), NTC 2050, NFPA 70, API RP 500, and other national and international standards applicable to the discipline. * Develop discipline-specific deliverables for the electrical scope, such as: design criteria, specifications, data sheets, requisitions, calculations, single-line diagrams, layout drawings, studies, etc. * Interdisciplinary documents for project integrity (review). * Technical administration of subcontracts. * Cathodic protection. * Resistivity and electrical studies, among others. * Technical knowledge required to provide immediate solutions to clients. * Advanced ETAP and DIALUX software proficiency. **Desirable:** * Positive attitude and teamwork. * Communication and active listening. * Initiative. * Attention to detail. * Results-oriented mindset. * Leadership Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
