Posting Date: 25 Aug 2026 City: Bogota Location: Bogota, CO, 110221 Contract Type: Permanent Division: Energy Project Solutions Level of experience: Intermediate RINA is hiring a **Field Engineer \- Electrical Engineering Specialist (Wind Farm)** to work at the client's site in **La Guajira.** **Mission** ---------- Responsible for the installation and commissioning of medium-voltage (33 kV) electrical networks, grounding systems, and optical fiber, performing connections, electrical tests, and field inspections to ensure the safety, quality, and reliability of the project’s electrical infrastructure. \#LI\-AM2 **Responsibilities** --------------------- * **Installation of 33 kV medium-voltage cables** in ducts and direct burial, including bending radius control, pulling tension, sand bedding, warning tapes, and spare ducts. * **Execution and supervision of prefabricated splices and terminations** for medium-voltage systems. * **Connection of medium-voltage switchgear and panels**, including torque verification, phase identification, labeling, shield connection, and shielding continuity testing. * **Crossings of medium-voltage networks** with roads, drainage systems, and other utilities, considering minimum burial depths, separation distances, mechanical protection, and conduit encasement. * **Grounding systems**, including grounding grids, electrodes, exothermic connections, resistance and resistivity measurements, and equipotential bonding of structures and equipment. * **Installation and fusion splicing of optical fiber** associated with the collector network. * **Execution and interpretation of field electrical tests**, including insulation resistance, VLF, tangent delta (tan δ), partial discharge, continuity, and grounding resistance measurements. **Requirements** -------------- * More than **7 years of general experience** in the energy sector. * More than **3 years of specific experience** in the relevant field. **Education:** * Licensed Electrical Engineer with current professional registration and enrollment in the **CONTE**. **Position Conditions:** * On-site work mode in **La Guajira**. * **21x7** shift schedule. **Reports to:** * + **Electrical Lead / Engineering Supervisor**. **Competencies** ---------------- * WORKPLACE DYNAMICS \- Resourcefulness in shaping progress and working efficiently. * PERSONAL EMPOWERMENT \- Ownership for life, work and results, striving to grow professionally and personally. * INTERPERSONAL INFLUENCE \- Skills and strategies we use to interact effectively with others. * DOMAIN \& BUSINESS ACUMEN \- Applying a scientific approach and critical thinking in operations and solution development within area of expertise. * FORESIGHT \& INSIGHT \- Context awareness adopting a systemic perspective and informed decision making.
