At Medilaboral IPS—a healthcare institution with over 25 years of experience—we are looking for a committed, organized, and detail-oriented Clinical Laboratory Assistant to support sample collection, processing, quality control, and transportation—ensuring compliance with quality, biosafety, and humanized care protocols.
We seek a service-oriented individual with strong teamwork skills and willingness to support operations across our various sites in Bogotá.
**Main Responsibilities:**
\-Receive, guide, and prepare patients for sample collection.
\-Register user and sample information in established systems according to protocol.
\-Perform clinical laboratory sample collection and processing.
\-Collect tests and transport them between sites.
\-Organize and manage area supplies and materials.
\-Carry out cleaning, disinfection, and washing of laboratory equipment.
\-Verify proper storage, color-coding, and appropriate conditions for supplies.
\-Report incidents, damages, or anomalies related to equipment or processes.
\-Support extramural field teams when required.
\-Participate in institutional wellness, training, and environmental management activities.
**Requirements:**
\-Technical or technological degree in Nursing Assistant.
\-Minimum 1 year of experience in clinical laboratories or IPS.
\-Knowledge of: Biosafety protocols; Sample collection and processing; Laboratory supply handling and control.
\-Strong service orientation, responsibility, and attention to detail.
**Motorcycle Requirements:**
\-Motorcycle registered under applicant's name
\-Zero traffic violations
\-Valid documentation: SOAT insurance, vehicle registration card, Class A1 driver’s license, and mechanical-technical inspection certificate
**Position Conditions:**
\-Salary: $1\.838\.450 \+ Transportation allowance \+ Mobility allowance $300\.000
\-Contract type: Indefinite-term; Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (8-hour shifts); 3 Saturdays per month (5-hour shifts)
\-Location: Bogotá – Rotating among sites: Santa Bárbara, Santa María del Lago, Calle 26 Centro Mayor
