Job Summary: A leading company in the oils and fats sector is seeking an Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Technologist/Technician to implement and maintain the OSH Management System, lead risk prevention efforts, and promote a safety culture. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead the implementation and maintenance of the OSH Management System. 2. Promote safety culture and risk prevention. 3. Coordinate trainings and manage safety indicators. Main Responsibilities * Implement, execute, and monitor the OSH Management System at the assigned site. * Conduct safety inspections and identify improvement opportunities. * Identify hazards, assess risks, and propose controls to prevent incidents and accidents. * Lead investigations into incidents, accidents, and unsafe acts or conditions, establishing action plans. * Verify compliance with safety standards by employees, contractors, and visitors. * Coordinate OSH training, induction, and re-induction activities. * Monitor appropriate use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Manage system indicators and submit periodic reports. * Support internal audits and address requirements from competent authorities. * Coordinate emergency drills and support emergency preparedness and response. * Promote prevention campaigns and strengthen self-care safety culture.
