This opportunity is onsite. **The Role** Wood Colombia seeks a professional Chemical Engineer or related discipline with 10 years of specific experience in engineering projects within the Oil & Gas sector to serve as a Process Engineer. Define/Review scope of discipline with the client for projects under development. * Lead project execution teams to ensure development of engineering deliverables such as: Process Design Basis and Criteria, Equipment and Line Calculation Memos, Industrial Utility Consumption Summary, Process Descriptions, Material and Energy Balances, Equipment, Line and Interconnection Lists. * Develop discipline-specific deliverables including: Operating Philosophies, Operations Manuals, Conceptual and Alternative Selection Studies, Bottleneck Identification, Relief System Evaluations, Facility Optimization. Ensure designs comply with international codes and standards (API, ANSI, ASME, NFPA), OSHA regulations, client specifications and sound engineering practices. Prepare and review design notes, calculations and data sheets to document technical specifications for rotating and static equipment. * Size process equipment such as: water treatment units, knockout drums, heat exchangers, pumps, and packaged treatment or utility service units (e.g., water, air, nitrogen, etc.). Validate applicable process engineering spreadsheets through implementation of the organization’s evaluation methodologies. * Share lessons learned from executed projects to apply best practices in future projects. Lead operational risk analysis workshops and other safety assessments for oil and gas facilities. What Makes You Extraordinary?
