Posting Date: 20 Jul 2026 City: Bogota Location: Bogota, CO, 110221 Contract Type: Permanent Division: Energy Project Solutions Level of experience: Senior RINA is hiring a **SCADA Supervisor (Wind Farm)** to work at the client’s site in **La Guajira.** **Mission** ---------- Oversee the installation, integration, and testing of the wind farm’s SCADA/telecommunications system, ensuring connectivity, signal quality, and basic cybersecurity. \#LI\-AM2 **Responsibilities** --------------------- Coordinate installation of networks, switches, fiber, radios, and communication equipment. Verify configuration and communication testing between WTG–substation–control center. Ensure signal quality, tags, alarms, historization, and reporting. Coordinate redundancy testing, time synchronization (NTP/PTP), and basic cybersecurity. Support communication fault resolution during commissioning. **Deliverables / Evidence** Communication test protocols and verified signal list. Configuration documentation (backups, versions) and network diagrams. SCADA punch list and evidence of closure.**Suggested KPIs** Communication availability (% of operational links). Communication incidents and resolution time. Percentage of validated signals vs. total. **Typical Interfaces.** Commissioning Manager, OEM, Electrical Coordinator, IT/Telecom, O\&M, Control \& Protection. **Requirements** -------------- **GENERAL EXPERIENCE:** Professional with over 12 years of general experience in the Energy Sector. **SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:** Professional with over 4 years of specific experience in the relevant functional area and 1 year in wind projects. **Recommended Requirements** Engineer/Technologist in automation, telecommunications, or electrical engineering. 4–8 years in industrial SCADA; wind experience desirable. **Competencies and Tools** Industrial networks (Ethernet, fiber), protocols (IEC 60870, Modbus, OPC) as per scope.
