Job Summary: We are seeking a Container Control Specialist to ensure daily tracking, prevent overcosts, and maintain communication with customers and suppliers. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in freight forwarding agencies, shipping lines, or logistics operators. 2. Knowledge of import and export operations and document handling. 3. Responsible for ensuring timely container control. At **EC Cargo**, we are looking for a **Container Control** professional with the following experience: **Academic Qualifications** * Technician or graduate in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, Business Administration, or related fields. **Experience** * Minimum 2 years of experience in freight forwarding agencies, shipping lines, logistics operators, or maritime agents. * Knowledge of import and export operations. * Experience in container handling. **Knowledge** * Foreign trade. * Import and export processes. * Document handling. * Shipping line platforms. **Responsibilities** Operational Control * Perform daily tracking of container status. * Monitor pickup, discharge, and return dates. * Track free time allowances granted by shipping lines. * Identify operations at risk of incurring overcosts. * Update container status in the internal system. Responsibilities * Ensure timely control of all assigned containers. * Avoid unnecessary costs due to expiration of free time. * Maintain continuous communication with customers and suppliers. * Ensure information is updated in systems. * Meet company-established performance indicators. **On-site position in La Castellana neighborhood, Bogotá city** **Contract:** Indefinite-term Working Hours: **7:00 AM \- 5:00 PM and/or 8:00 AM \- 6:00 PM** Workplace: On-site employment
