**About the Role**

At Maersk, we are seeking an **Import Analyst** to join our Customs Agency team in Bogotá.
This position will be responsible for managing and validating the import documentation process, ensuring compliance with Colombian customs regulations and accurate preparation of import declarations. You will work closely with internal teams, external suppliers, and customs specialists to ensure efficient, traceable operations with high quality standards.
**Key Responsibilities**
---------------------------------
* Prepare and validate import declarations and Andean Value Declarations (DAV).
* Manage information in OpenComex and other operational platforms, ensuring full traceability of each operation.
* Review the quality of declarations prepared by external suppliers and report inconsistencies.
* Prepare management and operational tracking reports.
* Stay updated on changes in customs legislation and support their implementation.
* Provide support during audits and inspections conducted by authorities such as DIAN, ICA, and INVIMA.
* Participate in continuous improvement and process automation initiatives.
* Comply with internal procedures and departmental performance indicators.
**Requirements**
--------------
* Technical, technological, or university degree in International Trade, International Business, or related fields.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in customs agencies, freight forwarding, or foreign trade processes.
* Experience in preparing and reviewing import declarations.
* Knowledge of OpenComex, VUCE, Siglo XXI, and Microsoft Office.
* Intermediate English proficiency.
* Analytical ability, attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of urgency.
* Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across departments.
