**Job Description*** Ensure the physical process of sample collection and preparation.
* Ensure truthful, prompt, and timely delivery of required information to the direct supervisor.
* Ensure truthful, prompt, and timely reporting regarding truck dispatch and receipt, and scale weight control.
* Ensure timely request of consumables required for operational execution.
* Ensure compliance with applicable technical, operational, and quality standards and procedures within the assigned area.
* Ensure appropriate handling and maintenance of all equipment under responsibility.
* Ensure compliance with safety standards established by SGS Colombia and the client at the worksite.
* Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment during work execution.
* Ensure timely reporting to the immediate supervisor of any non-conforming output or work within the process, or of customer complaints and/or appeals.
* Ensure active participation in identifying corrective, preventive, and improvement actions.
* Ensure active participation in both internal and external audits scheduled by the Minerals Sector.
* Ensure sample integrity through use of company-provided security means and proper recording in both physical and digital formats supplied by the company.
* Notify the Supervisor and the Logistics Professional (where applicable) upon completion of a batch or sub-batch to coordinate transportation of collected samples and handover to the preparation area.
* Report and file a formal complaint with the competent authority regarding loss or damage of security seals; inform the Operations Supervisor / Operations Coordinator / Operations Manager.
* Immediately report any attempt or evidence of integrity breaches committed by third parties or SGS team members to the Operations Supervisor / Operations Coordinator / Operations Manager / Director of Operations.
Any other duties assigned that are inherent to the position.
**Requirements** **Academic Qualification:** High school diploma; Technician in Mining Operations or related field.
**Experience:** In-house training within the organization for a minimum period of one (1) month.
**Additional Information**
Salary: COP 1,750,905 + Social Benefits, Additional Transportation Allowance.
