This position is within Cargill's protein and salt business, through which we provide high-quality, healthy food products to a wide range of customers—from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters. **Job Purpose and Impact** -------------------------- The Maintenance and Reliability Planner I will plan basic routine maintenance on our plant assets and equipment following established program guidelines. In this role, you will develop detailed work plans to improve workforce efficiency and quality by identifying elements of the established maintenance plan. You will provide general knowledge of best practices in maintenance and reliability, consistently completing the planning and prioritization of basic tasks and delivering quality work that supports organizational goals. **Key Accountabilities** ------------------------ * Research and compile necessary information to create highly effective and detailed work plans. * Initiate procurement of materials, special tools, and unique items required in work plans using relevant maintenance programs and database tools. * Prepare detailed work plans as required for general maintenance activities, schedule downtime, and collaborate with senior team members to identify opportunities to improve reliability and reduce lost production. * Maintain customized databases to support specific work processes and projects. * Plan execution of basic repair procedures and tasks to ensure compliance with fundamental plant maintenance procedures and practices. * Review all completed work orders for completeness, accuracy, and update machinery history data in the tracking system as needed. * Provide reports to keep maintenance leaders informed of work progress and upcoming work schedules. * Handle basic edits and issues under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate personnel. * Other assigned duties. \#LI\-AR3 \#LI\-Onsite **Qualifications** ------------------ **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, automation, electromechanical, electrical, or related field. * Professional license related to the academic degree. * Minimum of one year of experience in maintenance planning and execution. * Proficiency with SAP or CMMS systems. * Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). **Preferred Qualifications** * Basic to intermediate English language skills
