As an **Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technician**, you will contribute to our terminal’s productivity by ensuring equipment availability and reliability. Competitive benefits. **Key responsibilities for this role include…** * Ensuring maintenance, breakdown, and/or repair services (electrical and/or mechanical) for container handling equipment. * Performing maintenance and repair services for container gantry cranes and rubber-tired gantry cranes. * Ensuring emergency work is reported promptly to your Supervisor. * Conducting electrical/electronic maintenance repairs, troubleshooting, and monitoring. * Submitting routine and critical inspection and monitoring reports. * Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations. * Maintaining order and cleanliness in the workshop facilities and all equipment. * Providing complete and accurate written reports on equipment as required. **What are we looking for?** * Technical or technological education in Electricity, Electromechanics, or related fields. * Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician or related role in port installations and heavy equipment. * At least three years of general experience in crane maintenance sections at ports, mines, steel plants, and manufacturing facilities. Must also have two additional years of experience in maintenance and repair of quay cranes and RTGs, including knowledge of electricity/electronics and related topics. * Conte Card (Desirable) * Basic technical English * Excellent interpersonal skills (teamwork and customer service) * High focus on self-care and safe work practices * Innovative thinking and proactive attitude. * **Willingness to reside in Buenaventura \- Valle del Cauca.** **Why join our team?** At APM Terminals, we foster a dynamic culture of learning and development that empowers our employees to excel.
