Prepare objective technical opinions and reports A leading company in the insurance sector is currently seeking an Automotive Mechanics Technician, Technologist, or Professional—or a candidate with a related degree—with at least 1 year of experience in inspecting light and heavy vehicles. Conditions Permanent employment contract. Salary: COP $2,085,000 + food allowance of COP $200,000. Working hours: 44 hours per week. Schedule: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday: 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Job Objective Conduct technical, physical, and documentary inspections of vehicles to determine their current condition, identify existing risks, and verify the authenticity of their identification systems, issuing an objective technical opinion enabling the insurer to decide on risk acceptance. Main Responsibilities Perform technical inspections of light and heavy vehicles. Verify vehicle documentation and identification systems. Identify anomalies, risks, and the overall condition of vehicles. Prepare technical opinions and reports. Validate mechanical and physical conditions of motor vehicles. Ensure compliance with established protocols and procedures. Required Profile Technician, Technologist, or Professional in Automotive Mechanics or a related field. Minimum 1 year of experience in vehicle inspection, diagnostics, or automotive technical processes. Knowledge of light and heavy vehicles. Attention to detail, objectivity, and process-compliance orientation. Analytical skills and ability to prepare technical reports.
