You will apply FastAPI, lake and star\-schema patterns, and Microsoft Azure services with GitHub Actions CI/CD—submit your application today. **Responsibilities** * Create and enhance Python backend services and background jobs, leveraging FastAPI * Maintain data processing flows using Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Architect data solutions around data lakes, medallion layers, and star schemas * Operate CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions * Deliver Azure deployments using Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Define and maintain infrastructure\-as\-code with Bicep or alternatives like AWS CDK or Terraform * Apply GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to streamline implementation work * Coordinate with data and development teams to drive performance and scalability improvements * Address complex data engineering challenges while aligning with industry best practices * Track, investigate, and resolve service issues to ensure reliability **Requirements** * Deep Python experience (3\+ years) delivering web services and background jobs with FastAPI * Demonstrated skill with Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB in production workflows * Strong understanding of medallion layers, data lakes, and star schemas within modern data architectures * Working experience configuring CI/CD workflows through GitHub Actions * Background using Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Hands\-on infrastructure\-as\-code experience with Bicep, with AWS CDK or Terraform knowledge transferable * Familiarity with GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to support modern development practices * English level B2 (Upper\-Intermediate) or higher for daily collaboration **Nice to have** * Experience with Airflow, dbt, and Streamlit for orchestration and transformation * Understanding of distributed processing, asynchronous workflows, and enterprise messaging patterns * Hands\-on Snowflake work with stored procedures, streams, tasks, pipes, and time travel functionality * .NET web development experience supporting legacy frontend systems implemented in .NET Core * Angular or Next.js web development experience
