This role requires strong Python expertise, hands\-on experience with modern data processing tools, and a solid understanding of cloud\-based infrastructure. **Responsibilities** * Develop web services and background jobs using FastAPI * Design and implement data pipelines with a focus on data lakes, medallion architecture and star schema * Process and report data using Pandas, Polars, openpyxl and DuckDB * Utilize GitHub Actions for CI/CD workflows * Build and maintain Azure solutions including Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus and SignalR * Automate infrastructure deployment with Bicep on Azure or transferable skills in AWS CDK or Terraform * Apply spec\-driven development practices with AI tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code * Integrate Airflow, dbt or Streamlit where applicable **Requirements** * Minimum 3 years of working experience in Python development and data engineering * Knowledge of Pandas, Polars, openpyxl and DuckDB for data processing * Background in FastAPI for web services and background jobs * Skills in GitHub Actions for CI/CD and Bicep for Azure IaC automation * Expertise in Azure Container Apps, Azure Storage and Service Bus or SignalR * Familiarity with data lakes, medallion architecture and star schema * Capability to use GitHub Copilot and Claude Code for AI\-assisted development * Understanding of Airflow, dbt or Streamlit as a plus * Flexibility to apply AWS CDK or Terraform experience to Azure environments **Nice to have** * Knowledge of distributed processing, async workflows and enterprise messaging patterns * Experience with Snowflake including stored procedures, streams, tasks, pipes and time travel * Background in .NET web development with .NET Core * Familiarity with Angular or Next.js for web development
