PROPÓSITO FUNDAMENTAL: Liderar los proyectos y actividades del equipo de Ciencia y Tecnología del laboratorio de la Región Andina, impulsando el desarrollo de productos, la transferencia de tecnología y el soporte técnico al cliente, de acuerdo con las directrices de la Compañía. Garantizar que las soluciones desarrolladas cumplan las especificaciones técnicas, los requisitos de los clientes y los indicadores clave de gestión del área. RESPONSABILIDADES: * Liderar la planeación, priorización, control y comunicación de los proyectos técnicos asociados al desarrollo de nuevos productos y ajustes de formulación, asegurando excelencia operativa durante el ciclo de vida del producto y una gestión eficiente del inventario. * Participar en la definición de la estrategia de la unidad de negocio para la selección y estructuración del pipeline de proyectos. * Planear, priorizar y supervisar actividades relacionadas con auditorías internas y externas (5S, IATF, ISO 9001, ISO 14001\), proyectos de mejora continua (BPI) y metodologías de análisis y solución de problemas, garantizando el cumplimiento de los indicadores de calidad total (First Lot Control, consistencia de lotes industriales, análisis de causa raíz y cierre oportuno de reclamaciones). * Liderar, desarrollar y acompañar equipos de alto desempeño en el área técnica, promoviendo una cultura de formación continua, colaboración interdisciplinaria y eliminación de obstáculos que afecten la motivación o el avance de los proyectos. * Asegurar el cumplimiento de las etapas del proceso de diseño y desarrollo, incluyendo análisis de CSR, especificaciones del cliente, requisitos legales y características especiales, para garantizar la satisfacción del cliente y el cumplimiento técnico. * Gestionar los recursos técnicos del área, asegurando el cumplimiento del presupuesto y la eficiencia en la asignación de inversiones para el desarrollo de tecnología en la región. **About us:** **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD™** Through leadership in innovation, sustainability and color, PPG helps customers in industrial, transportation, consumer products, and construction markets and aftermarkets to enhance more surfaces in more ways than does any other company.
