Automate routine DBA tasks and troubleshoot database issues We are seeking a **Senior Database Engineer** to ensure the reliability, performance and security of mission\-critical databases in multi\-cloud environments. **Responsibilities** * Install, configure and upgrade MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL or Oracle databases * Monitor, tune and optimize database performance * Manage backups, recovery and disaster recovery plans * Implement and maintain database security and user access * Set up replication, clustering and high\-availability solutions * Automate routine DBA tasks using scripting and tools * Troubleshoot and resolve database issues * Document configurations and procedures * Collaborate with DevOps and development teams **Requirements** * 3\+ years of working experience in database administration * Advanced MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL or Oracle administration * Scripting skills in Shell or Python for automation * Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI and IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible * Familiarity with monitoring or logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana or ELK * Knowledge of cloud database services including AWS RDS, Azure or GCP * Strong background in database security, replication and high availability * Flexibility to work rotational on\-call shifts and provide weekend coverage * Capability to collaborate with SREs, platform engineering and application teams across regions * Upper\-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2\)
