At Babel, we are seeking Software Development Interns interested in learning, contributing ideas, and developing technical skills within a real-world environment. This person will support the development team in programming, testing, documentation, and application maintenance tasks while gaining hands-on experience with industry methodologies and technologies. Main Responsibilities:* Support the development of new features under the guidance of the development team. * Perform maintenance and bug-fixing tasks on existing applications. * Participate in unit and functional testing. * Document project processes, changes, and technical progress. * Collaborate with the team on analysis, design, and requirement estimation activities. * Contribute to continuous code improvement by following established best practices and standards. * Research technologies, tools, or languages necessary for assigned projects. Requirements:* Education: Technical or Technologist degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Development, or related fields. * Must be a student currently in the internship phase. Desirable Knowledge:* Programming logic and data structures. * Fundamentals in any of the following languages: Java, JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar. * Basic concepts of databases (SQL or NoSQL). * General knowledge of version control (Git). * Basic understanding of web or backend development.
