





**Role Overview** We’re seeking a **Process Mining Data Analyst \& Operational Improvement Consultant** who combines consulting acumen with strong **technical expertise in data extraction, transformation, and analysis**. You will help clients design and operationalize process intelligence programs—integrating data from multiple systems, mining event logs, and enabling data\-driven decisions across the enterprise. You’ll thrive here if you can translate business challenges into technical data requirements, connect complex systems, and apply analytical rigor to optimize how work gets done. **What You’ll Do** **Technical Process Mining \& Data Integration** * Lead data discovery, mapping, and integration efforts across ERP, CRM, and service systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow). * Build and maintain robust data pipelines to extract, transform, and load event logs into process mining platforms. * Develop SQL and PQL scripts to clean, normalize, and join datasets across heterogeneous sources. * Configure and validate process mining data models—including activities, variants, KPIs, and case IDs. * Design and automate ETL workflows using tools like Alteryx, Python, and native connectors or APIs. **Process Analytics \& Optimization** * Use Celonis, Signavio, or ARIS to identify process bottlenecks, compliance issues, and automation opportunities. * Perform diagnostic analyses using event logs to quantify rework, lead time, and SLA performance. * Create actionable dashboards and insights through Celonis Analyses * Quantify business impact of process improvements through data\-driven ROI and value realization frameworks. **Consulting \& Enablement** * Translate technical insights into clear business recommendations for executive and operational audiences. * Facilitate client workshops and data walkthroughs to align on data definitions, extraction methods, and process KPIs. * Mentor client teams in data literacy, process intelligence, and continuous improvement methodologies. * Contribute to reusable data extraction templates, integration accelerators, and methodology playbooks. **Collaboration \& Thought Leadership** * Partner with automation and analytics teams to integrate process mining insights with RPA, AI, and workflow tools (UiPath, Power Automate, Co\-Pilot Studio). * Stay current with emerging trends in process mining, process intelligence, and AI\-enabled analytics to bring innovation to clients. **What You’ll Bring** * 3\+ years of experience in process improvement, data engineering, or analytics consulting. * Demonstrated success in delivering process mining or data integration projects at enterprise scale. * Strong hands\-on proficiency with: + **SQL** (advanced querying, joins, aggregations, performance optimization) + **PQL** and process mining data modeling (desirable) + **ETL tools** (e.g., Alteryx, Python, or similar) + **API development** and data extraction from ERP/CRM systems * Familiarity with automation ecosystems (UiPath, Power Automate, Co\-Pilot Studio). * Understanding of key enterprise processes such as Procure\-to\-Pay (P2P), Lead\-to\-Cash (L2C), Order\-to\-Cash (O2C), and ITSM. * Strong facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across business and technical domains. * Process methodology framekwokLean Six Sigma or Agile experience preferred. **About Us** Slalom is a fiercely human business and technology consulting company that leads with outcomes to bring more value, in all ways, always. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
