As a **Sales Director**, you will participate in all sales activities and carry out your responsibilities in line with the sales and marketing plan for various market segments, aiming to exceed revenue forecasts and achieve hotel objectives. **What will you do?** --------------------------- * Understand the business strategy, brand positioning, and that of the Minor Hotels group, effectively communicating this positioning in the market while projecting a professional image to maintain and enhance brand reputation. * Develop business opportunities with a focus on international markets, Ibero-America, the Middle East, and the Asia-Pacific region. * Implement a multi-segment strategy to optimize performance throughout different periods of the year and position the hotel within the luxury segment. * Stay informed about rates and all product and service offerings at the hotel. * Conduct regular market analysis to monitor competitors and industry trends. * Effectively supervise, track, and manage the group segment assigned to the property to ensure proper positioning, maintenance of that positioning, and inspection visits as needed. * Participate in the preparation of the hotel’s budget related to revenues. * Understand the importance and priority of the hotel's financial results and direct commercial efforts toward achieving them, planning and prioritizing work to meet objectives within deadlines. * Support the development of contacts with new clients and monitor their potential revenue. * Commit to professional development, particularly through continuous acquisition and improvement of knowledge in finance, negotiation, and sales—essential areas for effective job performance. * Carry out effective cost control, adhering to internal procedures for expense approval. * Actively participate in promotional and sales trips, inspection visits, exhibitions, community events, and industry meetings to help the hotel achieve expected commercial results. * Establish effective coordination with the hotel’s operational teams—Front Office, Reservations, and Events—providing necessary support and information to ensure consistency in all services and products sold to customers. * Generate opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Minor Hotels’ products to clients. * Deliver internal and external business and sales presentations, adapting them effectively to the audience/client. * Perform any other duties related to the role as assigned. **What are we looking for?** ------------------ * Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in sales. * Strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal abilities. * Positive attitude, even under stressful or demanding situations. * High organizational ability, flexibility, adaptability, and professional discretion. * Results-oriented, customer-focused, with strong analytical and creative capabilities. * Strong communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills. * Availability to travel nationally and internationally. * Excellent ability to build and maintain a client base. * Computer literacy: Microsoft Office, Internet, Databases, and sales-specific applications, PMS and IT systems, Budget Management and Financial Management software. **Why choose us?** ----------------------- At **Minor Hotels Europe \& Americas**, we are committed to shaping exciting careers worldwide and fostering intercultural experiences.
