**You’re getting closer to touching the sky!** **✈️** We want you to be part of this exciting journey where you can grow and develop alongside a highly skilled and diverse team that will support you in overcoming obstacles and reaching your destination. **We are looking for our next Warehouse Associate** **In this role, your objective is to** receive, classify, control, inspect, verify documentation for, and dispatch Company Material (“COMAT” — including spare parts, materials, components, and tools) required for the maintenance operations of the company’s aircraft at each Holding station requiring such material, in compliance with applicable policies, regulations, and established processes, thereby ensuring reliability and timely delivery of said material while maximizing fleet availability. **Specific responsibilities:** * Receive aircraft parts in accordance with regulations established by Aviation Authorities regarding handling and documentation. * Verify that all materials or units being processed include the corresponding traceability and export documentation, and confirm their compliance with both company and aviation authority storage and packaging policies. * Immediately handle materials and units requested with priority status (AOG). * Receive, dispatch, and handle items classified as dangerous goods, complying with applicable policies and regulations. * Enter into the designated system every single package delivered to the warehouse by respective couriers. * Dispatch aircraft and non-aircraft parts required for daily aircraft operations to Avianca Holding’s COA stations. Preferred qualifications for this position: Academic background: Technical degree in logistics, warehousing, supply chain, international trade, or related fields. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics and/or tasks related to this position.
