




**Job Summary:** The Rotating Equipment and Basic Machinery Assembler will perform routine tasks such as decarbonization, grinding, balancing, and assembly. This position is also responsible for executing operational tasks in accordance with established processes. **Responsibilities:** * Operate basic equipment and machinery and perform routine tasks. * Operations management: carry out operational tasks following established processes. * Health, Safety, and Environment – Follow mandatory basic work instructions to safeguard the environment and the well-being of oneself and others. * Operational compliance: follow a simple mandatory procedure to ensure work is performed to required quality standards and/or to ensure compliance with external regulatory codes and internal codes of conduct. * Internal communications: exchange information with people through courteous interactions. * Other duties as assigned. **Requirements:** * Technician or technologist in Industrial Mechanics or related field with more than 1 year of relevant experience. * Experience operating basic equipment and machinery. * Knowledge of metrology. * Knowledge of ISO standards. * Verbal communication: uses clear and effective elementary verbal communication skills to express ideas and request actions. * Planning and organization: works with guidance to plan, organize, and prioritize activities to efficiently achieve business objectives. * Policies and procedures: works with guidance to understand policies and procedures while ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and objectives. * Health and safety: applies elementary concepts to manage and implement safe work systems. * Equipment utilization: works to optimize the use of production plant, equipment, and materials. * Experience in welding within a manufacturing or repair environment. * Experience in precision component assembly. * Reading technical drawings. * Use of measuring instruments. * Knowledge of assembly parameters such as fit, tolerance, clearance, and interference. * Knowledge of mechanical seals and bearings. **Preferred:** * Welding certification.
