Job Summary: NEORIS is seeking a Data Architect to design the future of data in the insurance/financial sector, bridging business and technology to enable advanced analytics and AI. Are you passionate about designing the future of data? We’re looking for a **Data Architect** to join a leading company in the insurance/financial sector. In this role, you will serve as the strategic bridge between business needs and technical capabilities. You won’t just design scalable architectures—you’ll enable advanced analytics and Artificial Intelligence capabilities. If you have proven experience building cloud-based data ecosystems and are motivated to translate business problems into robust technical solutions, this is your next challenge. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Strategic Alignment:** Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating functional requirements into clear technical specifications. * **Architecture Design:** Design scalable solutions based on modern patterns such as Data Mesh and Medallion Architecture (Bronze–Silver–Gold). * **Governance & Lineage:** Manage the data map, documenting sources, transformations, and dependencies to ensure traceability and compliance (Unity Catalog). * **Agile Management:** Create and prioritize user stories with measurable acceptance criteria, collaborating closely with Product Owners. * **AI Enablement:** Identify opportunities to integrate Generative AI technologies (LLMs, RAG) within the data ecosystem. **Job Requirements:** * Experience: Minimum 3 years in data architecture or advanced data engineering roles. * Technology Stack: Proficiency in **Databricks** (Workflows, Lakehouse, Delta Live Tables) and Azure Cloud. * Governance: Hands-on experience with security, cataloging, and access controls (Unity Catalog). * Theoretical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Data Mesh, Medallion Architecture, and Generative AI concepts (LLM, SLM, RAG). * Soft Skills: Effective communication to facilitate workshops, collaborative leadership, and problem-solving ability. * **Location: Must reside in Bogotá with availability for Hybrid work mode.** **We Offer:** * Competitive salary. * Prepaid medical coverage. * NEORIS Days (3 days off). * Employee Fund. * Annual performance bonus. * Vacation bonus. * Corporate tools. * Training and upskilling platforms. * 100% remote work for Colombia.
