Job Description We are seeking a Systems Engineer or related field professional with solid experience in development and handling of large volumes of data. The candidate will be responsible for designing, processing, and managing information flows using modern Big Data tools, ensuring data quality, availability, and scalability. **Responsibilities** * Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines using Python, Spark, and Airflow. * Administer, support, and optimize databases with high record volumes. * Ensure data integration through Web Services and APIs. * Coordinate and document technical data management processes. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in agile environments (SCRUM). * Contribute technical and process improvements to ensure data quality and availability. **Requirements** * Degree in Systems Engineering or related field. * Minimum 5 years of experience in data development and management. * Proven experience in: + **Python**, **Apache Spark**, and **Airflow**. + Handling files/databases with large record volumes. + Web Services (SOAP, REST), CVS, GIT, Maven, Tomcat. + SQL (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other engines). * Experience applying agile methodologies (SCRUM). * Soft skills: teamwork, leadership, effective communication, empathy, and situation management. **Desirable** * Knowledge of Apache Zeppelin and Apache Hadoop. * Additional experience in Data / Big Data areas. **What We Offer** * Indefinite-term contract. * Location: Bogotá and surrounding areas. * Work modality: Hybrid, 1–2 days per week. * Office hours: Monday to Friday. * Salary: To be agreed upon.
