Manage resources to ensure result traceability. * Ensure proper operation of computer equipment and information security * Guarantee sample preparation for assigned laboratory analyses * Ensure receipt of samples in the laboratory for entry into the laboratory database (SLIM) * Perform assigned physical, chemical, and microbiological analyses * Ensure proper handling of all laboratory equipment under one's responsibility and execution of operational/efficiency control and calibration activities per established laboratory procedures * Timely request consumables from the Laboratory Supervisor to ensure normal workflow * Promptly report equipment damage or anomalies to the Laboratory Supervisor * Ensure compliance with safety regulations established by SGS Colombia and the client in the work area * Ensure correct use of personal protective equipment during task execution * Guarantee compliance with applicable technical, operational, administrative, and quality standards and procedures within one's area * Timely inform immediate supervisor of any non-conforming products in one's process or customer complaints and/or claims * Actively participate in identifying corrective and preventive actions * Actively participate in both scheduled internal and external audits * Other duties inherent to the position as assigned * Participate in identifying risks associated with the process * Report any suspicious activity during daily operations * Implement and validate laboratory test methods * Validate and guarantee laboratory analysis results **Requirements** Technical or technological degree in Chemistry; Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Chemical Engineering; Microbiological Engineering; Biology; or related fields; or thesis-level students in any of the above disciplines. **Experience:** Zero (0) to 2 years of experience relevant to the position. **Technical Knowledge:** Laboratory quality control according to NTC-ISO/IEC 17025 standard; knowledge of method validation, measurement uncertainty, quality assurance, and good laboratory practices
