Job Summary: We are seeking a Forklift Operator to organize and place merchandise, support inventory activities, and maintain safety standards within a growing multinational company. In this role, you will face the following challenges: Organize, place, and label merchandise for cyclic and general inventory counts. Apply industrial safety standards established in the Makro Wholesale Manual of Procedures for forklift operation (isolation, helmet, gloves, PPE, speed limits, load capacity limits, etc.). Verify proper stacking of merchandise before placement on racking systems, according to established parameters for each product type, ensuring correct completion of labeling tags. Occasionally support point-of-sale registration when required by the store. What Are We Looking For? - One year of experience operating forklifts, plus experience applying safety standards, control procedures, storage, warehousing, inventory management, and commercial area interaction.
