Responsibilities: * Conduct technical analysis of plant equipment for which technical responsibility will be assumed, understanding the technology and processes, and how the company’s refractory products can improve the potential customer’s results and performance; discuss and technically plan new developments with a focus on implementing priority solutions in the region, aligned with the customer’s wishes and needs. * Collaborate with internal technical interfaces across RHI Magnesita’s technical areas to align with customer requirements and necessary product specifications. * 3. Specify technical requirements for products or equipment to meet customer needs, evaluating cost/benefit relative to RHI Magnesita’s objectives, with the aim of preparing a project or offering an already available product. * Review and deliberate on projects developed by the Engineering team and other departments to meet customer demands under your responsibility. * Visit customers to identify needs and implement solutions, train teams (internal and customer-side), participate in startups, supervise the production start-up phase, and monitor key performance indicators to validate implementation effectiveness. * Propose design improvements for equipment, supported by engineering, and review projects to adapt them to operational or economic conditions. * Schedule, guide, and supervise activities performed by technicians (either ad hoc or contract-assigned) at customer sites for implementing new processes, monitoring equipment and operational performance jointly with the customer. * For non-contractual services, perform technical activities with customers to implement new processes, monitor equipment performance, and track operations according to negotiated terms/client agreements. * Prepare technical visit reports to understand specific customer needs and/or operational conditions, and provide recommendations regarding next steps in commercial negotiations and customer engagement approaches. * Prepare technical proposals for equipment and solutions upon request from sales, explaining to the customer benefits in terms of performance, possible discontinuation of previous products, and other factors influencing purchasing decisions. * Participate in defining implementation priorities for projects and solutions, and supervise, coordinate, and act with relevant departments to ensure their execution for customers under your responsibility. * Address equipment problems and anomalies by analyzing root causes, issuing technical reports, and presenting action plans for resolution as required. * Plan and execute assigned functional activities, occasionally supported by professionals with higher technical expertise or immediate supervisors, demonstrating ingenuity in most operations, processes, or equipment within the activity area, though still requiring support from other professionals to resolve issues and meet productivity targets. * Support execution of activities by less technically experienced professionals when tasks are more complex, sharing knowledge and contributing to their development. * Support senior professionals in processes inherent to their performance, leveraging experience for personal development. * Execute sector work plans and procedures, performing and supervising required technical actions to achieve established goals and objectives. Required Knowledge and Skills: * Professional degree in Industrial Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related fields. * Solid knowledge of Metallurgical Processes and Refractories. * Ability to interact effectively with people from diverse cultures. * 2–5 years of specific experience related to the responsibilities of this position. * Technical knowledge of Refractory Materials, including types, properties, installation methods, and quality control. * Solid knowledge of Cement Manufacturing Processes: Rotary Kiln, Coolers, Preheater Tower.
